Our Team Our Story

Hi, I'm Lowell Weir. It felt to me like a natural evolution from being a former National Association of Boy's Club Boxing Champion (NABC) to gaining my qualified further education teacher certificate. I've taught PSHE, PE, Work Related Learning and boxing to SEN young people in EBD Schools. I received a grade (1) from Ofsted for teaching PE at Chalcot EBD School.

I have a Diploma in Sports Psychology. It seemed obvious the benefits of combining the significant impact of boxing with sports psychology to develop a therapeutic method of working with disaffected young people.

Our Founder Lowell Weir is a highly qualified further education teacher and youth worker. He has extensive experience working with young people with challenging behavior. His qualifications include a Grade 1 from Ofsted and a deep understanding of how to address challenging behavior.

Personal Philosophy: We believe our personal approach and in the power of therapeutic boxing. The "maieutic method" and our role as a "scaffold" to help young people get where they want to go.
